Upon re-entering my stamping hobby, I learned of a publication called USA Philatelic as a stamp catalog from the US Postal Service. Immediately I started researching these beautifully designed documents. Each year, the United States Postal Service (USPS) publishes 3-4 editions of the USA Philatelic. The first catalog of the year showcases the stamps and commemorative material produced for that year. The catalogs that follow basically repeat the major showcased stamps.
These publications are shared in graphic-rich PDF files that take up a large amount of storage space. This is a major downside of collecting these catalogs. Currently, I’m attempting to capture the digital versions of these wonderfully catalogs. So, I’ve added a USA Philatelic project page on the site dedicated to the USA Philatelic stamp catalogs.
