SUPPLIES EXPLAINED

  • Stamp Albums – album books with acid-free paper used to store your stamps. Avoid album pages that are sticky because these damage stamps.
  • Stock Books – used to store stamps. These books look like looseleaf binders and have loops for detachable plastic pages or sleeves.
  • Stock Sheets – attach these holes, plastic sleeve pages in your stock books. The plastic sleeves vary and can store 2, 3, 4, 7, etc. rows. These can store single stamps, panels, first covers, etc.
  • Tools & Accessories
    • Glassine envelopes – use these to store stamp panel sheets, first day covers, etc.

    • Hinges – small pieces of translucent paper used to mount the stamps.
    • Magnifying glass – use this to closely inspect your stamps
    • Mounts – clear plastic sleeves similar to those holding pictures
